We would be more than happy to customize a solution that fits your individual requirements. Regardless of your method of transmission, please include your PO Number, Payment Terms (provided your company has established terms with us), Preferred Shipping Method, Requested Dock Date and any other pertinent details. We’ll process your order promptly, advise you of any revisions and confirm your order per your specified method in an efficient and timely manner.
Net 30 Day Terms are extended to customers upon approved credit. If you currently do not have established terms with us and would like to apply or would like to clarify your current terms, please contact your CSR. New accounts will be asked to provide 3 trade references and a bank reference; please allow one week to clear. All current customers in good credit standing have been automatically loaded in to our webstore. Current order history including open orders, completed orders and payment history are available on our protected webstore; credit card payments for open invoices on account may also proccessed via our secure online gateway.You may access your data using your Email Address and personal Password.
We gladly accept Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express® and Discover®. However, due to current payment processing restrictions, credit card orders must ship complete. Please be certain to pay attention to on hand quantities when placing your order. Quantities for any and all items that exceed the On Hand Quantity (backordered items), will need to be on a separate order for proper processing once the backordered items are available to ship. Our CSRs stand ready to assist if you have any questions regarding this policy.
Under select conditions, prepaid orders may be permitted by check; although, we reserve the right to hold the order until the check clears with our bank. C.O.D. Shipments may also be made available in select, limited circumstances and certain conditions apply. Please contact your CSR for further details.
Certificates of Conformance and/or Analysis, issued by our company, are available at no additional charge where applicable.
Pricing and Discounts The MP Company values your business and is willing to provide certain discounts rates off of MSP, Manufacturers’ Standard (List) Price. The discounts rates are based upon your company’s annual MRO spend with the MP Company, are reviewed and updated quarterly and are in US dollars. As a current MP customer, your account has been preloaded on to our site and your current discount rate has been entered. On our web store, once logged in, you will see both the Standard Price (MSP) and Your Price based on your current discount rate. Your PAE located conveniently in your area would be more than willing to review with you your company’s current level as well as other requirements for improving your current discount level. The program clearly rewards those valued customers that elect to do more business with us. Please contact your PAE or CSR for further details. Minimum purchase quantities or broken case charges may be required for some items as determined by the manufacturer. Custom products may be subject to quantity overage or underage as specified on our quote. All prices are in US Dollars and are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to amend this policy as required.
Please note: ALL wire solders and bar solders are priced and sold per pound. All other products are sold per unit as noted in their descriptions.
Sales Taxes Applicable sales tax will be added to all orders. If you are exempt from sales tax, please provide a signed exemption certificate based on your shipping address location with your order. If you are uncertain of your current taxable status with us, please contact your CSR. Copies of current Exemption Certificates may be e-mailed to us at compliance@murrapercival.com or faxed to 248-276-9980.
Quotations Quotations on our products and services can be obtained several ways, they include through our web store 24/7, by phone at 800-405-1730 or fax 248-277-9980, or in writing requested via e-mail.
- Webstore – You can shop on our store 24/7, select the products you are interested and convert your selections to a quote quickly and efficiently. Your quote can be either e-mailed back to you or converted to a PDF document for further use. Your quote will remain on our site and can be converted to an order easily either after you’re done or anytime in the future.
- By Phone/Fax – You may contact your customer service representative during the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm EST (EDT). The toll free number is 800-405-1730 Continental US or 248-276-9970 Local & International. Our fax number is 248-276-9980.
- In Writing – You may contact our customer service department at orders@murraypercival.com and your request will be forwarded to the next available CSR for careful handling.
Although we will take every reasonable measure to ensure the accuracy of quotes, we reserve the right to correct errors in the event they occur.
Shipping Orders are fulfilled immediately and are shipped in most cases same day if the items selected are in stock and order is entered by 2:30pm EST (EDT) Monday thru Friday. All ship and delivery dates specified on the MP website are estimates and subject to change. Orders are shipped FOB—Auburn Hills, MI or Origin unless otherwise specified or agreed upon. Freight charges for ground & air parcels may be prepaid and added to your invoice. We will ship collect utilizing the following carriers: FedEx Ground, UPS, FedEx Express & LTL - Customer Directed Carrier Freight Collect. Hazardous Materials may require special consideration and some items are not permitted to ship via certain carriers. Our customer service staff stands ready to assist you regarding specific shipping concerns. We reserve the right to amend this policy as required.
Returns and Exchanges We want you to be completed satisfied with your purchase. We understand, however, that this may not always be the case. In the event that you are dissatisfied with your order, you may have the option of credit and/or replacement. Claims for credit and/or replacement must be made within 48 hours of receipt of goods and we may refuse packages returned without a Return Authorization. Our Customer Service staff can assist you with initiating a Return Authorization and generating any subsequent replacement orders and/or credits due. A restocking fee of up to 25% may apply based on your status with our company. All returns must be sent Freight Prepaid as designated on the Return Authorization. All returned material must be in the manufactures’ original packaging and in re sellable condition. Returned packages are subject to inspection for damages and any issues will be reported back to the customer in a timely fashion. All time sensitive materials must have at least 25% shelf life remaining to be considered for return. Originally shipped refrigerated materials may not be returned; since they were stored out of our control we cannot verify that they were stored properly. Therefore in some cases customers may elect to have the material recertified at their cost should they elect to do so and we are in agreement. This policy may be augmented for special circumstances.
Claims and Damaged Shipments Packages should be inspected immediately upon receipt. The MP Co. takes every reasonable precaution to ensure that your orders are delivered without incident, although problems may occasionally occur. We will assist you in tracking lost shipments to the best of our ability. Should damage occur during transit, please contact the responsible carrier immediately upon receipt and inspection of goods to initiate a claim. We may, at our discretion, be able to assist you with the claim process depending upon the method of shipment. Typically, however, freight that has left the point of origin becomes the responsibility of the consignee. Please contact our Customer Service staff for assistance or to place replacement orders for lost or damaged merchandise.
Errors Should we error while processing and filling your order, please contact us immediately. We will resolve the matter to your satisfaction as quickly as possible.
Warranties All warranties for goods sold by the MP Co. through our website or by any other means are Manufacturer Warranties unless otherwise noted or specified.
Limitation of Liability The product information, specifications and descriptions contained on this website have been compiled for the use and convenience of the customers of Murray Percival Co. from information furnished by various manufacturers. In no event shall the Murray Percival Co., or its representatives and/or employees, be liable for any claim for incidental or consequential damage or lost profits arising out of, or in connection with, the manufacture, delivery or use of any product offered in this catalog or by any other means.
